Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Harshavardhana Sringalah has urged the government of Bangladesh to immediately implement the recommendations of the Coffee Anan Commission by mentioning the government of India on the Rohingya issue.
Harsa Vardhan Sringala commented on the relief handover sent to Rohingyas at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport on Thursday noon. Road transport and construction minister Obaidul Quader took Indian relief at the airport. Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Abdul Mannan, deputy commissioner Zillur Rahman Chowdhury, Acting Assistant High Commissioner of India, Arundhati Das and other officials of the two countries were present in Chittagong.

During the transfer of relief, Transport Minister and Transport Minister Obaidul Quader said, "India is our friend of our times. In 1971, during the liberation war stood beside us. The tough times of Bangladesh are standing next to us. '
Obaidul Kader further said, 'Number of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh already crossed four lakh. Many more refugees are waiting for entry into Bangladesh. In such a difficult period, the Indian government has sent relief for Rohingya. I congratulate Narendra Modi on behalf of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
Indian High Commissioner Harshavardhana Sringla said, "We do not support Myanmar government's position on Rohingya issue. We urged the government of Myanmar to implement the Quick Commission Commission's proposal. In this situation, we offered support for social and economic development in the Rakhine state, so that all citizens of the state are equally benefitted. Through social and economic cooperation, we want to play a role in improving the situation of Rakhine. "
Harsa Vardhan Shingla said, "A large number of people have been displaced and came to you (Bangladesh) country. The opportunity to use the displaced people (Rohingya) is possible. Seeing some signs too. Some people could use this opportunity to provoke terrorism. Our country (India) has maintained a strict policy on not supporting terrorism. We have taken zero tolerance policy in this regard. '
The Indian High Commissioner said that in the continuation of the existing friendly relations between the two countries (Bangladesh and India), the Government of India stood beside Bangladesh with seven thousand tonnes of relief assistance. As part of that, the first shipments of 53 tons of relief came today. Another such aircraft will have relief. The rest of the relief materials have been brought from the port of Vishakhapatnam in the port of Chittagong.
53 tons of relief sent to Rohingyas for India, including rice, pulses, sugar, salt, biscuits, milk, soap and various materials. Earlier this morning, an airplane flying from Morocco to Rohingyas was sent to Chittagong Airport at Soyo 9. 14 tonnes of relief sent from Morocco to Rohingyas include tents, blankets, medicines, baby toys, matres and rice.
Additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong has said that two more relief cargo planes from Indonesia will be landing at Chittagong Airport this evening. Habibur Rahman (Education) said in the first light.
