A recent BBC analysis shows that the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army used to operate in English as 'Faith Movement'. Locally it was known as 'Harakah Al Yak'. Ataullah's father left from Rakhine to Karachi in Pakistan. There Ata Allah is born. He grew up in Mecca. There he studied madrasa. Ataullah disappeared from Saudi Arabia in 2012. Then after the start of fresh violence in Arakan recently its name was heard. According to a report by international research firm 'International Crisis Group' - the agency said that the organization has originally been developed by Rohingyas going to Saudi Arabia. Twenty-one leading Rohingya people in Mecca have developed this organization. They have links to Bangladesh, Pakistan and India. In Arakan who are associated with this organization, they are thought to have trained modern guerrilla warfare. There is support and sympathy for this organization among local Rohingyas. It is said in the report of the ICG that Arisa is now becoming popular among Rohingya. A member of Bangladesh Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), who was unwilling to disclose the name of the BGB, recently told the Guardian, 'Myanmar is afraid of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army. Virtually hundreds of thousands of Rohingya fleeing from Myanmar in the early eighties have gone to Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and the Middle East.
